This past Autumn I shared a story with a combined in-person and virtual audience of 200+ compassionate listeners, and rode the adrenaline high for several days before landing in the vulnerability hangover of it all.
This story marks the enclosure-transformation-emergence that was my journey into motherhood from first pregnancy to birth of my second child. This was not just about child-bearing and birthing. It transpired every bit as much and simultaneously in my marriage and my sense of self as well.
